Ways to Give
Annual Fund
Our Annual Fund is the primary source of funding for Ouimet Scholars. By supporting the Ouimet Fund, you’ll help send hardworking young men and women to colleges across the nation.
Alumni Fund
The Fund is thankful to have so many generous Alumni giving back through financial contributions. We applaud these individuals for paying it forward and helping the next generation of Ouimet Scholars.
Parent & Family Giving
As a parent or guardian in the Ouimet Fund community, we hope your family has experienced this distinction’s financial and networking benefits. We hope you will consider paying it forward for current and future families so they, too, can experience the full benefits of being part of the Ouimet community.
Memorial Donations
Memorial donations give our supporters meaningful ways to remember and pay tribute to loved ones. Gifts of any amount are accepted and memorial donations of $250 or greater are recognized in our Annual Impact Report.
Lifetime Memberships
Lifetime Memberships help hundreds of young men and women afford a college education. Membership can be paid over as many as four years.
Named Endowed Scholarships
Named Endowed Scholarships are a great way to honor a friend, loved one, or organization while providing permanent support to the Ouimet Fund. When you make a gift of $50,000 to our endowment fund – payable over up to five years – you’ll create your own Named Endowed Scholarship.
Planned Giving
The Eddie Lowery Planned Giving Program recognizes individuals who have made a future commitment to The Fund through an estate gift. Planned (or bequest) gifts naming the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund as beneficiary through a will, trust agreement, life insurance policy or other deferred gift, such as a 401(k), provide a vital resource for Ouimet Scholars.
Recurring Giving
Your recurring gift will help create the stability necessary for The Fund to continue our mission, which is to reduce or eliminate the need for Ouimet Scholars to leave college with significant student debt. Since 1949, The Fund has awarded $49.85 Million in scholarships to more than 6,625 deserving young men and women.
Donor Advised Funds
Donor-advised funds (DAFs) make it easy to dedicate funds to support your favorite nonprofit organizations. This is a convenient way to make a meaningful, tax-efficient contribution to the Ouimet Fund.
Gifts of Stock
Gifts of stock can be transferred electronically, making it easy for you to give to the Ouimet Fund. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your personal tax benefit.
Life Insurance
You may have purchased a policy that is no longer needed for its original purpose, such as for the payment of estate taxes that may no longer be due, to protect children who are now grown, or to fund now-completed education plans. The Ouimet Fund may benefit from these policies if adjusted.
