Erin Foster, a Junior at Quinnipiac University, performed her golf service at William J Devine Golf Course at Franklin Park.

Incredibly hard-working and enthusiastic, she has excelled in academics at Quinnipiac, in her chosen major of Nursing. Managing her rigorous course load while also having to navigate her diagnosis of ulcerative colitis, Erin earned the distinction of a spot on the Dean’s List.

Involved in the Quinnipiac Student Nurses Association and Quinnipiac EMS as well, Erin has been committed to community service on and off campus. She proudly works with Cards for Care and Quinnipiac’s “The Big Event,” one of the country’s largest, student-run days of service. In speaking of her pride in being part of the Ouimet community, Erin had this to say:

“The Ouimet Scholarship has immensely impacted my life in a positive way. It has helped me financially, as a good education is very expensive. Without the Ouimet Scholarship, my tuition prices would be incredibly daunting. The Fund allows me not to have too much anxiety when it comes to paying back all of my student loans, as it is such a great financial help. If I did not receive my scholarship, my education would have been too expensive, and I would not be able to attend the school I love.”

With life lessons learned and support from the membership at William J Devine Golf Course at Franklin Park, Erin is excited to continue learning and growing at Quinnipiac University as she continues her education!
