Matthew Bailey
A Senior at Fairfield University, Matthew performed his golf service at Worcester Country Club. An extremely hard-working and talented young man, Matthew majors in Management, minors in Economics and Business Analytics, while also being the Music Director for Fairfield University Radio, a member of the Campus Ministry group, the Humanitarian Actions Club, the Economics Club, and the Club Golf team. He proudly volunteers with the American Red Cross, Wounded Warrior Project, and Best Buddies International. Professionally, he recently interned with Harbourvest Partners, a Boston based private equity company, to learn about the industry.
“Receiving the Ouimet Scholarship has tremendously impacted my life. Without the generosity of donors, pursuing a degree would not be attainable. Words cannot describe how thankful I am for this opportunity. Additionally, the Ouimet Scholarship Fund has provided networking advantages. I attended a virtual networking event in the fall, where conversations led to other opportunities. As a result, I secured an internship at MFS in Boston for the summer. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and cannot wait to start! The Ouimet Scholarship Fund played a significant role in helping me acquire an internship for this summer.
