The Bank of America Championship was a PGA TOUR Champions Tour event that was played for many years at Nashawtuc Country Club, and was conducted by Nashawtuc Charities, a charitable arm of the club. The award was established in 2004 and is for Ouimet Scholars who have performed his or her golf service at Nashawtuc Country Club.
The Bank of America Championship Award winner for 2009-2010 is Alex Wilson of Ashland. Alex performed his service to golf at Nashawtuc Country Club, working in outside operations for three years, and is a freshman at UMass - Amherst with an undeclared major. Alex has been very active in the game of golf, captaining his high school team for two years, while also volunteering for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
